Season I recap
So, arena season 1 is over. We entered halfway and tried to get our gear updated, which came out ok. I personally went from 7500 HP to 9884 now unbuffed. I started in all brackets but soon left the 2v2 behind me as szwok and nimra did so well there (didnt want to take down their score). They ended the season with a little over 2100 rating which gave 800 points, a nice title and an armored netherdrake. The last thing was a big surprise. (i heard Artanias had one in the mailbox as well, but can't use it yet because he did not pay the 5k gold yet. Gzzz Art anyway! Knowing how much he like farming, it could take a while :D. 2v2 is in my opinion a bracket where casters rule. On top you see all kinds of combo's priest/lock/mage with little melee mixed in it.
Our 3v3 was 1854 highest and went a little down after that, it was more something we played in between while we tried to get the 5v5 running.
our 5v5 ended a little over 1700 (good for 640 points a week) and there is more coming there. We are experimenting with a 4 dps setup and a setup with 2 healers and a warrior. Hopefully we can get more games in instead of trying to play the games on tuesday and running in a team that farms you for 5-6 games in a row. (the more you play, the more that factor is irrelevant).
I saved points the last week to get a fresh start for season II and decided that maces would be the way to go, so i got myself the season II main hand mace.
We did some 3v3 yesterday and goddamn this thing hits hard. 2-3 weeks to get the matching mainhand and then i can finally start getting some armor. We ended 9-4 yesterday in 3v3 while szwok and nimp had a 12-0 session. gogo guys! (and had an awesome match against daymare(zekro) and senbon.
They upgraded the honoritems as well, so all can start grinding those bg's again.
I finally paid of Nimpie as well, so that is over with. But i bought new shoulders, needed gems for that and needed to respec, so now i need to pay back 100+ gold to szwok. Well, sh!t happens :D
Women....can't live with them....can't shoot them.
I entered AB and saw this guildname. Made me smile.

yea, big grats on your mace man, and it was indeed a really nice guildname you screened there...
And GG to you Szwok and Nim...
After we lost I get a cheerful message from Nim...

Grats on your gear upgrades, mace spec is the way to go imo.
Im very happy with Season 1 arena, We got all teams up and played each week with them so thats only good. Its just getting the setups/tactics/positioning right in the 5v5 team, once we nail that i think we can get very high.
Also im expecting to see high rated 2v2 for Szwok and me. We got a good start, now its just the queue times holding us back a bit.... like 7 mins per game queue :'(
And who can forget the first epic battle of the season, we had this thing in gchat one day about Szwok and Nimra vs Senbonzakura and Zekro, we were taunted, we taunted them and in the end we wanted a fight in the STV arena, but for some weird reason (cant remember)we didnt do it.
So we finally meet eachother in the arena, szwok and me won, but i thought it was pretty close, 2 rogues burning cd's on me is not cool :D but i stood long enough to see zekro die and after that senbon had clos on cd's and got taken out by szwok. So maybe we'll meet eachother again this season, atleast i hope so
